Background
Gorkha Education Group is a group in the Mid Western Region of Nepal to serve in health and education with the aim to run university schooling in management and health education via Victoria International College in Ghorahi, Dang.It is running BBA program since seven years affiliating from Pokhara University in Bhadra-24,2066. The group has been involved in the school and plus two education programs for the last several years. The all group is also running a well equipped 50 beded hospital.
Gorkha International Public Higher Secondary school, Dang, is an academic institute established by 97 Gurkhas (Lahures) in 1998 AD. It is a well-established academic organization in Mid-Western region. The group is also running Gorkha Higher Sec. School in Tulsipur. Both the schools are serving about 4000 students both in secondary and higher secondary level, which includes Science and Management stream.
Location Information
It is located at Ghorahi Municipality -11, Dang. The location is just 24 km away from east-west highway and about 125 km from Nepalgunj. The city, Ghorahi, is connected with a pitched road from the highway and facilitated with Internet and other communication networks. The city Ghorahi is in the center of about 1.8 million people of Rapti zone and connected with graveled roads to all districts Salyan, Rukum, Rolpa and Pyuthan. The College has about 65-ropani land with a big playground.

Curriculum
We implement Nepal’s National Curriculum tailored with a multi-dimensional child-centric approach. We engage children in inquiry-based learning approaches and children are trained to explore knowledge instead of just being recipients of knowledge through teachers or the textbooks.
Co-curricular Activities
We strive to inculcate love for lifelong learning. We offer a wide range of electives for children in addition to academic activities. We involve children in a host of activities that prepare them to be leaders in their choice of fields. Our children are involved in fine arts, sports, drama, elocution contests and community service.
